The painted dial on a tall case clock and the reverse painted glass on a shelf clock or banjo clock can often be the most ornate part of the clock. However, with time, natural deterioration, and neglect they often need to be either restored or completely repainted.

We offer a complete dial and glass repair, restoration, or repaint service depending on the desire of the individual customer. We can also restore silver dials.

We perform minimal restoration and stabilization of dials and glasses in our workshop. The more involved and detailed work we hand over to one of several experienced decorative artists and craftsmen. The artists we use specialize in the preservation, restoration, or reproduction of antique clock dials and reverse painting on glass. This service can include stabilizing loose flakes, treating rust, filling craters, color matching, repairing graphics, stenciling, or gold leafing, sealing and hand finishing.
